About MeIn 1999, I filed for divorce after 25 years and was on my own for the first time in my life. In 2000, I met my future husband online and we were married in 2005. I relocated to the east side of Michigan to live with him and be near his job. (Go figure!!!) I'm 53 now and I have three adult children (2 sons & 1 daughter), two daughters-in-law and five very precious grandchildren. I struggle with obesity, diabetes, panic attacks and various other mental health issues.

I kind of get embarrassed.
It makes me uncomfortable...I usually shoot back some kind of sarcastic remark. LOL.
Extremely hard. . . I usually contradict everything they say, but I'm trying to be better and just say thank you :)
It is very hard for me to accept a compliment. and depending on who it is from, I second guess their real reason behind the compliment.
VERY! I usually think I don't deserve them.
very hard....the old mantra..."I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy"......geesh..
VERY! Even if I think I even remotely deserve a little bit of a compliment, I get all flustered and avoid the whole thing then. Wish I could deal with things like that better and just say "Thank you" or "Glad you liked or appreciated" whatever.
It depends on the sincerety. I can accept a real compliment, but I get the insincere one ALL THE TIME of "have you lost weight, you're looking good!" Which, I've gotten extremely regularly for over 5 years now. NO, I HAVE NOT LOST WEIGHT! No, I am not fat, I am actually very happy with my body type. So ya, I HATE that "compliment." Ooh, I do LOVE it when I get compliments on my hair though!
Interesting Q today! :)
