Just a quickie..
Were you ever sent to the Principal's office. If so, why?
(The idea for this "Quickie" came from Rebecca's Heads Or Tails post yesterday.)

About MeIn 1999, I filed for divorce after 25 years and was on my own for the first time in my life. In 2000, I met my future husband online and we were married in 2005. I relocated to the east side of Michigan to live with him and be near his job. (Go figure!!!) I'm 53 now and I have three adult children (2 sons & 1 daughter), two daughters-in-law and five very precious grandchildren. I struggle with obesity, diabetes, panic attacks and various other mental health issues.

I was sent to the principals office for wearing those over the knee, white socks scunched down to mid calf level. Apparantly they stopped you learning.
20 years later and I still can't figure out how socks would accomplish this feat.
No, just the "counselor"'s office. For hitting a boy that was tormenting me in the lunch line upside his head.
Yep. In 6th grade my best friend and I were racing to get to the door first. When she got there, she leaned back a little too harshly and broke the window.
Then she told the teacher I was the one who did it. A big fight ensued and we both ended up in the Principal's office. I was so mad at her... for like a week. Which is actually a pretty long time when you're 12!
The first eight years of my schooling, I was actually pretty angelic -even at the top of my class most of the time back then too. High school -well, I did get sent to the principal's office at least once that I remember and I think it was from skipping school the day before -leaving the building, not returning, half way through the day. But never got punished for it or anything. However, I punished myself during those last four years by discovering there were other fun things to do besides homework and therefore, lost my status as being at the top of my class. Not the brightest move I've ever made, ya know.
Way to many times.
Yes, but it was never MY fault! ;-)
Many times. Once it was for leading a demonstration. Another time it was for capitalism.
Honest.
The few timese I've gone to the principals office was because of errors-I went home sick once or twice and somehow those absences got registered as skips.
Nope. I was a geek! Just stopping by to say hello! I hope life is treating you well Barb :)
